Book Review

My latest book, set to release in early 2018, focuses on the science and wisdom of prenatal nutrition. In it, I actively question many tenets of our current prenatal nutrition guidelines, like the recommendations to eat a high-carb, low fat diet, to limit salt intake, and to avoid many (delicious) foods.

Often, these recommendations fly in the face of what traditional cultures ate. I take into consideration these ancestral practices as well as the latest scientific research, to provide you with the first truly evidence-based guide to optimal prenatal nutrition.
